Solidifying Commitment to Industry Standards and Secure Mobile Diagnostic Excellence
TAUNTON, UK – 6th November 2025 – DEOS Consultancy Limited (www.ukdeos.com), a leading provider of secure and high-speed image data transfer solutions for mobile medical screening units, proudly announces its registration as a full member of AXREM, the Association of Healthcare Technology Providers for Imaging, Radiotherapy and Care.
The membership solidifies DEOS's commitment to industry-wide collaboration and will enable the company to contribute its specialist expertise in mobile diagnostic connectivity to the UK’s premier trade association for medical technology suppliers.
DEOS’s primary service involves facilitating the rapid and secure electronic transfer of critical medical images (DICOM studies), such as mammograms and lung scans, from remote mobile units to central Picture Archiving and Communication Systems (PACS) within NHS Trusts and private providers. By leveraging advanced 4G/5G and satellite bonding technology, DEOS directly tackles capacity and logistical challenges in the diagnostic pathway.
This expertise is highly relevant to AXREM’s strategic focus areas. As a member of the association, DEOS will primarily engage with the Imaging IT Special Focus Group, where its unique perspective on real-time data security and resilient mobile infrastructure will be critical.
Viv Barrett, Director at DEOS Consultancy, commented: "Joining AXREM marks a pivotal step in our growth and mission. Our work is focused on making vital diagnostic screening more accessible and efficient, often operating at the frontline of patient care in remote locations. We look forward to collaborating with other industry leaders within AXREM to help shape policies, enhance technical standards, and champion the secure adoption of next-generation cloud and networking solutions across the NHS imaging network."
