DEOS Partners with Royal Free London to Power Expansion of England’s Largest Breast Screening Service

Taunton, UK – 29th April 2026– DEOS (www.ukdeos.com), a leader in innovative medical imaging solutions, is proud to announce its partnership with the Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust (RFL) to support the significant expansion of its breast screening services. Following the successful deployment of DEOS technology, the Royal Free London has officially become the largest provider of breast screening in England.

The RFL is one of the busiest cancer providers in the NHS, receiving almost 66,000 suspected cancer referrals annually. To meet the growing demand for preventative care, the Trust has expanded its infrastructure to include six mobile screening units and two fixed sites. Central to this expansion is the installation of DEOS Optima and DEOS Circle Plus, which provides the Trust with the critical agility needed to scale a screening department rapidly. Demonstrating the efficiency of the solution, DEOS completed the full technology installation within just two days.

The integration of DEOS technology enables the Royal Free London to transfer high-resolution clinical images securely, seamlessly, and instantaneously across different Picture Archiving and Communication Systems (PACS). This interoperability removes traditional technical barriers, ensuring that clinicians can access vital data regardless of their location.
